Benfey’s Spiral Periodic Table

Theodor Benfey's periodic table (1964) is one of alternatives to the common representation of periodic table. It represents elements in a two-dimensional spiral starting from hydrogen as the center and moving outwards as atomic number increases with two peninsulas, one for the transition metals and the other for lanthanoids and actinoids where same-group elements are located on a same radial line.
